    • Layers of quick drying fabrics and sun protection. Water sandals, water shoes, muck boots and canvas tennies are good. Flip flops and fancy leather shoes not good. Barefoot is a bad idea.

    • Everything you need is next door at Islands Marine Center.
  • Can I land anywhere?
    • Only in an emergency. No, the rest of the time. Part of the shore is public tidelands and part is private down to the low tide line. Use common sense and respect signage and people’s private property.
  • Do I need a map
    • Usually. We have had people get lost even with maps. A short out and back is probably okay without one.
