Lopez and the San Juan Islands
|
The San Juan Islands are located sixty miles to the northwest of Seattle, Washington, USA. The Washington State Ferry is the most popular way to get to the islands with Lopez Island being the first stop after a scenic 45-minute ride. The ferry originates in Anacortes, An hour and a half north of Seattle. During peak summer months, expect delays if you are bringing your automobile with you. Another way to get here is by air, with a spectacular overflight of the Puget Sound. Daily air service is available through West Isle Air from Boing Field in Seattle, Anacortes and Bellingham. Float plane service is available through Kenmore Air from downtown Seattle on Lake Union to our dock on Fisherman Bay. |
